my name is Owen, and all my life I’ve been big into ideas.

I was raised on a farm in rural Massachusetts, an upbringing that instilled values of perseverance, commitment, and sustainability within me from an early age, but proved to be a rather difficult setting to find an outlet for my sense of progressive creativity. Much of my early years were spent creating board games, writing short stories, and designing systems of play for my younger brother and I. As I grew older, I found more productive avenues for this creative passion, such as designing public notice posters for town elections, or writing brochures for the local board of health.

Once I reached college, I realized that it was not so much the physical creation of design that I was finding myself so entranced with, but rather the larger creative and strategic process as a whole. I am a conceptual person at heart, someone who truly relishes the opportunity to design ideas that fit just right. Regardless of medium, I greatly enjoy finding creative and clever solutions to the many design problems we face in our constantly evolving world. I am also someone who finds a deep sense of value in community, and I’m at my most productive when I am in a group setting, giving and receiving ideas in order to create a cohesive product. I am specifically interested in copywriting, as I am an experienced writer, but I also retain a lot of passion for advertising and branding, areas in which I feel I can allow more of my visual ideas to come forth. I am looking for any opportunities that can allow me to participate and engage with a team of progressive creatives, in which I can flourish as the conceptual designer I’ve always wished to embody.

Let’s get Wright to it.
